WHAT SHOULD I BRING?
Bathing suit, sunscreen, towel, hat,
sandals, sunglasses, sports drink.
CAN I BRING MY OWN EQUIPMENT?
Yes! If you want to learn with your own
surfboard or wetsuit, feel free to use it.
We will advise you if your surfboard prohibits
you from progressing. We provide boards
and wetsuits as well.
HOW DO I KNOW WHICH CAMP CLASS I FALL INTO?
Beginners:
If you cannot paddle and catch a face
wave by yourself, you are a beginner.
Advance:
This class is for those who can catch their
own face wave and ride it consistently.
Advance surfers can attempt turns, cutbacks and off-the-lips.
SHOULD I ARRIVE EARLY?
Yes! Please make sure you are ready to go
by the time your lesson starts. Give yourself
some time to park and put on sun-block.
HOW CAN I PREPARE FOR SURFING?
You can do push-ups and set-ups to condition yourself.
Stretching 20 minutes before you surf will always help.
Doing Yoga and Pilates are always good to keep your
core strength for surfing.
DO I NEED TO KNOW HOW TO SWIM?
Yes! We don't test you but you must know how to swim
at a basic level. If you are not a confident swimmer,
we can start you on the inside shore break.
DO YOU RENT SURFBOARDS AND WETSUITS?
Yes, as long as they are available.
