Dan Mori Owner / Head Instructor

With more than twenty years of surfing experience, California native Dan Mori has traveled all around the world to places such as Indonesia, Hawaii, Fiji, Australia, Nicaragua, Japan, Europe and Mexico to pursue his passion for the surfing lifestyle and perfect his skills in the water. All those years of amateur (NSSA) and professional (WQS) experience have culminated much of his coaching success. In 2003, Dan founded Fulcrum Surf to share his passion for surfing with others.

For over nine years, Dan and his team of qualified coaches have been working with clients of all ages and ability levels to enrich their lives through surfing. Actively involved in the Del Mar community as head surf coach at Torrey Pines High School and Canyon Crest Academy High School, Dan continues to teach, travel, and compete to take his surfing to the next level and further its unmistakable mark on his life and the lives of his clients.

Brian Casazza Owner / President

Brian is a life-long surfer, entrepreneur and North County resident. He was the founder of 9 Squared, one of America�s largest developers of entertainment software for cell phones, which was sold in 2004 and again in 2007. He continues to be active in the wireless industry and is the founder of BrightSlide, a developer of educational software for touchscreen devices. Brian�s surfing background includes world wide travel to Mexico, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Brazil, Hawaii, Bali, Mentawais, Fiji, and Australia. He has competed in a variety of amateur organizations and traveled with the US Amateur team to Brazil. He graduated from San Francisco State University and earned his MBA from Denver University. He is the proud father of 2 amazing children.

Adam Instone Media Manager, Instructor

Originally from New Jersey, Justin, has been competing in the ESA and NSSA circuits for over six years. A graduate of Point Loma Nazarene University with a B.S. in Physical Education, Justin was an active competitor on the university's surf team. He joins Fulcrum Surf's group of elite surf coaches with four years of teaching experience, and equal parts passion and professionalism in sharing the surfing lifestyle with his students..

Justin Spadafora Operations Manager, Instructor

Jesse Sinclair Instructor

Jesse has over 8 years of professional surfing instruction experience and makes every effort to get in the water on a daily basis. Additionally, he graduated from CSUSM in 2005 with a degree in Business Administration with an emphasis on High Technology Management. Jesse has traveled around the world to experience diverse cultures, explore remote surfing locations, and share his love of surfing. He has visited Africa, Tahiti, Indonesia, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Mexico, Hawaii, and Baja regularly for the past 18 years. He is a third-generation native of San Diego and a proud second-generation surfer. He has called Del Mar home for the past 25 years

Devereaux Jennings Instructor

Devereaux Jennings, stays on the waters edge surfing to the beat as he focuses on his loves, surfing and music. Having surfed competitively since age 13 he has learned the fundamentals and experienced the fun of surfing. After attending school in San Francisco to study Business and Recording Arts, this 20 year old has returned to his hometown of Del Mar, to teach kids the essentials of surfing. Taking on the challenge of competing in NSSA, ISF, and YMCA competitions Devereaux has the skills needed to encourage and foster students desire to surf.
